OA Innovations uses a methodical top-down approach to define, design, and build First Article products. Initially, we work with the client to help formulate system and board level design specifications, and determine which regulatory/MIL standards are applicable. At each milestone (and at regular intervals) we review progress with the client, identifying potential trade-offs, risks etc.

Once we have a design that meet specification, we can prototype and build first article units that are representative of the final product. These can either be working prototypes or rugged first articles, capable of functional, EMC, and electro-mechanical stress testing.
